God flashes by
with his butterfly wings
tucked in beneath
his eagle wings
that hide and shine
the fourth set
of angel wings.
God moves through
the skies and trees
at night making sure
everyone, each and
every child is alright.

With no left turns,
there’s no right way.

God is the mystical
parable of the day.
Somewhere inside me,
I can feel his bones move,
and his wings slither
in the night sky,
surrounded by other
butterflies like himself.

Thanks of the words of words of encouragement. I had some doubts about posting this piece at all, but decided the last verse really made it worth sharing.
